This weekend was the third and final weekend of the nine CrossFit regional competitions taking place all over the world. With hundreds of athletes vying for a spot in the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games, let's take a look at how our Kill Cliff athletes fared in regional competition.
Former Navy SEAL Josh Bridges dominated at this year's West Regional. His 434 total points earned him 3rd in his region and seventh worldwide. His efforts have qualified for a spot in the 2018 CrossFit Games in Madison, WI!
Coming back from back surgery, Brooke Ence proved she's well on way to making a full recovery. She put up 198 points that landed her at 27th in the West Region and 147th worldwide. We can't wait to see her get back to full strength and dominate the field as usual.
Sam and Jenn Dancer dominated the competition with team Invictus X in the West Regional. Their 544 points were good enough for first place in the region and second place in the worldwide team rankings. This won't be the last we see of the Dancers as Invictus X has qualified for the 2018 CrossFit Games.
Corrina Coffin and team Salt Lake City CF Black locked up a spot in the 2018 CrossFit Games with their impressive performance in the South Regional. With their 476 points, they earned a second-place finish in the region and 35th nationally.
Kill Cliff employee Austin Cahoy had a strong showing for his first ever CrossFit Regional appearance as an individual. Cahoy finished 18th in the Central Region with 248 points and 112th in the world.
CrossFit 417, led by friend of Kill Cliff Jared Stevens, qualified for the Games with a 9th place performance worldwide. Cahoy had previously competed with CrossFit 417 at the 2014-2016 regional competitions.
With the regional competition wrapped up, the athletes will now put their focus towards kicking ass and taking names at the Games in August. We can wait to see you in Madison!
