An Instagram handle called harryshimmin posted this insane clip of an ice and snow avalanche in the Tian Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan. It was a hike for the ages!
"We’d just reached the highest point in the trek and I separated from the group to take pictures on top of a hill/cliff edge. While I was taking pictures I heard the sound of deep ice cracking behind me. This is where the video starts."
The hikers were on a cliff themselves, so they were boxed in.
"...when the snow started coming over and it got dark / harder to breath, I was bricking it and thought I might die."
You don't say! Ya think?!
As it happens, no one died, thankfully, so it's not really a Kill Cliff Killer Cliff, just a Nearly-Killer Cliff.
