Here's Why This Kill Cliff-Inspired Orange Crush Might Be the Most Dangerous Cocktail Yet

Professional bartender and Kill Cliff mixology advisor Jake Steel (great name) kind of scared us when he reported that his new concoction using our “tasty AF” ® CBD Orange Kush is “definitely day drinking.”*

*Drink responsibly. That said, man, is Steel right. This Orange Kush Crush deserves to be sipped in bright sunshine, amid the aroma of coconut sunblock, and with a salty tang in the air.

“It’s also a do-something-kind of cocktail,” he adds. “The 25mg of CBD in the Orange Kush does a nice job taking the edge off, while the electrolytes and B-vitamins hydrate you and perk you up, but just a bit.”

He also likes the fact there is NO sugar in the Kill Cliff Orange Kush, since you’ll get enough of that from the fresh-squeezed orange juice and the Triple Sec you will mix it with.

“This Kill Cliff take on the universal favorite orange crush is super fresh, so you don’t want to do too much to it,” Steel says.

“Sometimes if I want a little more kick to wake up, I hit it with the Kill Cliff Ignite Smashing Citrus instead of the Orange Kush. The 150mg of clean caffeine goes down easy. Definitely day drinking.”

With that, here’s how to make…

Kill Cliff Orange Kush Crush

2-ounces of orange vodka

1-ounce Triple Sec

6-ounces of fresh-squeezed orange juice (or mixed from frozen OJ or from a carton “with pulp”)

3-ounces of Kill Cliff CBD Orange Kush or Kill Cliff Ignite Smashing Citrus “depending on your mood,” our bartender says. “The more Kill Cliff you add, the healthier this drink gets!”

Add the orange vodka and Triple Sec to a shaker filled with chipped or cubed ice. Add the fresh-squeezed OJ and give it a good shake to combine the ingredients. Pour the shaker into a 12-ounce glass of chipped ice and top off to the rim with one of those Kill Cliff beverages. Garnish with a slice of orange.

And for gosh sakes, please put on sunblock.
