The Jam In The Van Experience

KILL CLIFF was lucky enough to get to join Jam In The Van in Nashville for the 2019 Americana Music Festival. As an unofficial sponsor for the event, we got to pass out ice-cold KILL CLIFF CBD to all the bands that made their way into the van. 

For those that are not familiar with Jam In The Van, they are a solar-powered mobile recording studio and YouTube Channel that’s changing the way the world discovers new music.

Launched in 2011 as a backyard project inspired by a love for music festivals, JITV has since turned into a full-blown business venture for Jake Cotler, Dave Bell, and Louis Peek. The company has filmed over 1,000 bands in remote locations across the United States. With new sessions every day of the week M-F, Jam in the Van is the leading tastemaker when it comes to music discovery.

With the Jam Van parked in the backyard of The Crying Wolf, the crew was prepared for 40+ bands to take their turn jammin' in the van. To accommodate the hundreds of fans that showed up, the JITV crew provided a live feed of the jam session on TVs that sat outside of the van. 

Madison Rising was one of the many bands to stop by the van. They were undoubtedly the most patriotic band in attendance as they are entirely composed of military veterans. They invited Chris Irwin, Navy SEAL Foundation Director of Partnerships, to join them for a song in the van as they were in town recording a song to help support the Navy SEAL Foundation.

As each band rolled in throughout our time there, it became obvious that these bands were either already worn out or were soon going to be worn out. Each band was likely going to play four or five times during their short time in Nashville for the Americana Music Festival.

On top of the physical and emotional drain that kind of schedule would bring, it was also over 90 degrees throughout the week. Thankfully, KILL CLIFF was there to provide elite hydration and reduce stress through the benefits of KILL CLIFF CBD.
