Austin Cahoy - Kill Cliff

Austin Cahoy

Austin Cahoy is headed to CrossFit regionals. Regional competition is not unfamiliar for Cahoy as he's competed with CrossFit 417 at the team level, but this time it's got a different feel. For the first time in his CrossFit career, Cahoy has qualified to compete as an individual at regionals.

Much like many athletes in the sport, Cahoy was a high-level athlete before his CrossFit career began.

Cahoy was a running back at Missouri State University when a back injury effectively ended his career during his sophomore year. Despite the injury forcing Cahoy into football retirement, this injury would not keep him down for long.

Without football, Cahoy wanted to find an activity that would keep him active while also getting to tap into his competitive side. That’s when he was introduced to the world of CrossFit.

Being the competitor that he is it did not take him long to start competing in CrossFit events at a regional level. Cahoy joined CrossFit 417 and has competed at the CrossFit Games with his team for the last three years.

Cahoy’s relentless competitive nature and resilience in the eyes of adversity make him a great addition to our group of Kill Cliff Warrior’s. We can't wait to see him kick ass and represent for Kill Cliff at the upcoming regionals.
