Robin King is an absolute warrior. A native of Dallas with a degree in finance from Cal State, she did not anticipate the trajectory of her career and its impact on so many when her photo-journalist husband decided to chase the dream of becoming a Navy SEAL.
Married into the community, she quickly realized the significant challenges and stresses on the families. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she dedicated her work to making a positive change. Over the course of the past 18 years, she grew the idea of the Navy SEAL Foundation from a two-person part-time organization into one of the top charities in America.
Since 2013, Robin has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Navy SEAL Foundation, which provides three pillars of support to the NSW community: family services and command support, educational programs, and legacy preservation. Robin ensures that millions of dollars of aid and assistance are available to the fighters, families, and children of the Navy Special Warfare community.
Before taking the job as the Skipper, Robin was on the Executive Team as Chief Financial Officer. During this tenure, she drove tremendous growth in program support and Under and garnered the highest possible ranking from Charity Navigator, America's leading independent charity evaluator, for sound and transparent fiscal management.
